Diplomatic Run

Even the introduction of the Galaxy Class didn't slow down the work done by Ambassador class ships. In some cases more pressure was exerted on them as they rushed to the new frontiers explored by the Galaxy's before hand. In most cases new diplomatic channels were opened or in some instances a clean up op' after an incident. They also took up the role of a Galaxy if there wasn't one in it's operational sector as was the case when the USS Odyssey was destroyed. Later in the Dominion War they became vital system Command ships networking vital information to there respective task force. After two more refits post DW they were subsequently retired wither sold to scientific institutions or scrapped.
