Dry Heat by KillaBC Dry Heat by KillaBC
Made before Terminus this was a test in doing an up close sun shot, I made the background first with Hameeds asteroids to make it look a bit more chaotic. The outpost in the background shows the bombardment of rocks hitting its Shields as the Enterprise does a routine drop off and pick up mission.

Is it just me... Or does the weight of the giant saucer bend it downwards?

Great job! The fact that the Enterprise is so close to the sun is a testament to how powerful that ship was.

Gorgeous. If you remember, on average can you tell me how long it took you to create that ship?

This is gorgeous. I love the glow effect on the sun; it has the same aesthetic qualities something so bright should have without actually hurting my eyes.

Great work. The lighting is great and the depth, too, mainly created by the station in the background. Nicely done.

Thanks, I was in two minds at first on the station but it merged well with the field and and I kept it. I think now I'm going to concentrate on getting spaces capes down and the interaction of a 3d render within it.

Thanks Wiley, I love your Ent-D. I think it has to do with how smooth it looks.
