Wow that's pretty impressive! I have little knowledge of 3d work, but many of these renders of the ship from artists on this site make them better looking than they did in the movies. I think that I'm slowing beginning to like the Jj Abrams ship- well At least certain parts of it, I like the sweeping shapes and thicker neck, I think it's just the secondary hull, for me it seems too short , which gives it a sort of 'top heavy ' look, mmm may grow on me in time
yeah not too bad seen from certain angles, such as from below and behind, i certainly like all the extra lighting on the ship, still, part of me was kind of hoping at the end of the ST Into darkness movie, that after the Enterprise was repaired that they might, just might have fixed it with a new, longer secondary hull. oh well, looks like we're stuck with it.
I even threw the mandatory lens flare. I took some liberties of how it was actually seen in the movies and I really wanted to get the shuttle in their too, but I couldn't find the mesh. Still I'm happy with the way it cam out. Thank you.
This will probably a bit long comment. First commenting on your conversation: I knew they were on the original Enterprise but I haven't noticed that it's not on the JJ-prise. Second: Though overall I like the picture, for me the model of the station where the Enterprise is docked to it seems to be a bit rough (the edges especially). I'm not an expert in digital art, but I would say that it didn't get any post-effects in photoshop. Third: What do you think of Star Trek Into Darkness? There was a fourth also but I can't remember that. (things like this happen when I wake at 3:30 in the morning. the exams need a lot of space in my head )
Thanks for the quick reply and sorry for the late reply Unfortunately I'm really picky when I'm tired but that doesn't change the fact that I will change my wallpaper for this on my notebook. But I let Geralt enjoy the spotlight for a few more days
