Nah, of course not.
This one here was a joint effort between me and Maxloef. He built the ship and we both did the wave texture. I then rendered it all out and finished it off.
Always a favourite scene of mine, it started to show how far visual effects had come since the Wrath of Khan days. Camera movement became more fluid and dynamic but still showed the grace that the ships had. The 90's when combining the practical and computer imagery really showed what could be done in terms of bringing a movie to life.
